Am I republican or conservative?

Here are my beliefs:

-I absolutely HATE illegal immigration and we should defend our
borders at ALL costs. The illegal immigrants already existing here should be
deported.

-I support the constitution and all of its components 100%

-I hate it when democrats tout that we must help the poor and tax the rich.

-I am a firm believer of the American dream. As in ANYONE can do it as long as they had the motivation to do so.

-I hate it when Democrats/Liberals use the "poverty cycle" as an excuse

-Marijuana should NOT be legalized

-End terrorism

-We should protect the environments and preserve wildlife at all costs.
Hunting is permitted as long as it doesn’t interfere with the ecosystem.

-Welfare fraud shall be eliminated.

-Little to no involvement in foreign affairs.

-CAPITALISM

-Free market; less government.
I’m not old enough to vote but I have helped a local congressman on their campaign serving under the Republican-Conservative title.
You guys are giving me so many answers….provide support.

You see, conservative is an idea and republican is an organization. I personally am a liberal, but certainly not a democrat.

Independent registration is the way to go, the founding fathers themselves feared and wanted to ban political parties in elections.

Also be sure to read the constitution if you support it as much as you do, or you will be subject to a politician’s interpretations of it (which are usually twisted to back up their own beliefs)

Conservatives generally believe in the idea that their should be freedom, but order always comes before freedom, i.e. banning pot, end terrorism, and even, in more extreme circumstances, censorship.

liberals believe in freedom as well, but they also believe that equality should always come before freedom, i.e. gay rights laws, civil rights laws, womens right laws, etc.

Communists and other totalitarians believe that Order and Equality always come before freedom, so every thing is equal, but there is generally no freedom.

Libertarians and anarchists believe that freedom should always come first, no matter what, which generally includes laissez faire government, unfortunately you will probably end up with a pay toll for every paved road considering the government wouldn’t own any of them XD

These are just the basic far ends of the political "square", a person can believe whatever they want. a moderate conservative might agree with legalizing pot, but might also agree with banning abortion, it’s all personal opinion.

Supporting the constitution and supporting a federal ban on a plant is sort of a contradiction.

Change your view on the plant and you would be Libertarian.References :

You are a little beyond most republicans because of the deportation of illegal immigrants ‘cough’ Mexi’s ‘cough’. But the republican party is the main conservative party of the States so…I dunno.References :

Very often these same values are cited as a reason to commit various felonies through existing structures.

If you believe in these values while maintaing Constitutional law; you’re a conservative and not necessarily a Republican, with libertarian leanings.References :

Ha, some of those immigrants come over, work hard at doing jobs for us that we wouldn’t want to do. And in return, they get just enough to feed their families, something they couldn’t do in Mexico. and you want to just deport them because they’re SUCH a problem. Please dont go into politics.References :

You’re certainly dumb as hell if you think isolationism is a good idea or that ‘ending terrorism’ is worth mentioning as a political stance.

    You’re not conservative but you’re most definitely Republican.References :
