Do people realize that the "Tea Parties" have nothing to do with Obama, but taxes without representation?
I love how the "News" (I.E. media whores) skew the facts to make it out to be just those evil Republicans, when in reality it is "WE THE PEOPLE"
Why are people still letting the few who own the media agencies do this all because the media agencies don’t want to tick off the sources where their advertising money comes from?

I remember a certain Democrat (Although I will be the first to admit that BOTH Democrats and Republicans do this) state about their vote on the Bush Bank Bailout…they received 93,000 phone calls about the bill, and 85,000 were AGAINST it, so of course they felt that they needed to vote FOR the bill. How is that being represented?

I have mine on speed dial, but it doesn’t help because they vote the way THEY want to vote verses what people say.

You have a good point about people exercising their right to protest. I just don’t like how they are trying to make it out like it is still between the right and left because it isn’t. EVERYONE is "Fed Up" with the Government and how the government is acting without our consent passing bills strictly against the Constitution.
The informed people understand exactly what is happening. Of course the media (which is slanted) is not going to promote true liberty !!! Then people would be in control of the government, rather than the statists. Just that simple. The Constitution is scary to socialists and liberals.

MOST people’s taxes are going DOWN…. Spending was UP under BUSH…. gas prices went up under BUSH…. unemployment went up under BUSH…. YET… there were NO ‘tea parties’…
Taxes are going down for 95% of the taxpaying public under OBAMA…. and NOW… you are rallying???? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???

Yes, the media is making a joke of these gatherings and downplaying their significance. I just came back from one in a town of 40,000 people and their were 3,000+ people there. Many Democrats like myself were there. This is not over.

Even if it was about Obama or taxes, it is a good thing "we the people" protest our disgust of government.
The people are exercising their rights…and America needs more of that to scare government into submission.
Edit: Agreed! Everyone knows congress is voting against their wishes. But I put 70% of the fault on the voters who elect these Washington fools and help them stay in power.
