Republican advertising is responsible for the long life of GOP campaigns. Without proper advertising, the image of a campaign is fleeting and unappealing to voters. Voters of all classes, races and means, are looking for a campaign to support, but, if a campaign doesn’t have the resources to reach the voters’ attention, a campaign risks falling beneath the radar and losing thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of votes.

With the help of republican advertising agencies, GOP campaigns are able to appeal to every kind of voter. These agencies specialize in unbiased awareness. What does this mean for the campaign? Hundreds of thousands of more voters. Advertising agencies specializing in political campaigns recognize that every person is a potential voter and that all people are different. They also recognize that different people rely on receiving information through different mediums: television, newspaper, internet, paper mail and email.

Republican Advertising Doesn’t Leave Anyone Out

Even democrats. Yes, when advertising agencies spread a campaign’s message, no person is left out because of the political party they are affiliated with. Republican advertising agencies do specialize in spreading republican-inspired messages, but they recognize that a voter is a voter and a vote is a vote. Voters are always looking for the best candidate possible, even if they’re a democrat and the “best candidate possible” is a republican.

Republican advertising agencies hold true to the beliefs of their republican clients, but they also make their clients’ message enticing to non-republicans. Just think of what this means! The voters who are already republicans are a sure bet. If an agency can make a GOP campaign’s message appealing to non-republicans, they can surely succeed in making it appealing to republicans.

But how is this possible? It’s quite simple actually. By appealing to the hearts and minds of the voters, instead of solely their “political personality,” republican advertising opens up a world of possibilities for the republican campaign they represent. Voters who would have never voted for a republican campaign in the first place are motivated to vote differently because their hearts and minds were reached. Republican advertising is a form of marketing that appeals to republicans first and foremost, but also keeps moderates and democrats in mind. The message that is spread by advertising agency is inherently republican, but also universal.

Yes, this combination is possible, believe it or not. All it takes to make a republican campaign’s message appealing to everyone is the aid of a competent team of marketing professionals.

A republican advertising agency that is reliable is one that works with a campaign directly. Through maintaining a connection with a campaign and not simply “working for” a campaign, an advertising agency is able to market a republican campaign effectively and accurately. “Working with” a campaign is key to advertising success. When a republican marketing team makes it its mission to work with a campaign, and simply not for it, an honest message is created and effectively publicized. In other words, the public is made aware that the campaign represented by the reliable republican advertising agency is the only campaign worth voting for.

You know a republican advertising agency is reliable when its marketing professionals attempt to maintain regular contact with you and your campaign. If an agency goes days or weeks without keeping in touch, they are not in touch with the latest changes within your campaign, which means they are working to spread a message that is no longer accurate. A reliable agency maintains a constant stream of communication and is always inquiring about the changes made within your campaign. The more an agency knows about your campaign, the more accurately it can spread your campaign’s message.

A Reliable republican advertising agency Depends on Accurate Information

The results an agency achieves when it doesn’t stay up to date with changes within a campaign are catastrophic. When old information about a campaign is spread, the public is being lied to. Voters are not being exposed to the latest beliefs held by the campaign and, consequently, are not being exposed to the campaign’s true message. When an agency fails to maintain contact with a campaign, a campaign suffers.

When a republican marketing agency strives to keep regular contact with your campaign, you can rest assured that the agency is reliable. The marketing professionals within the agency are determined to maintain honesty within the message of your campaign and make voters aware of it. When inquiring about an agency and its practices, ask about the contact they maintain with their clients. Is it regular or sparing? The answer you are looking for is: “We work with your campaign.” An agency that claims to work for your campaign most likely does just that. They don’t aim to depict the most accurate message possible. Be assertive and always make sure an agency is motivated to do two things: 1) spread the word accurately and 2) spread the word effectively.

Many a conservative and republican have joined the Obama bashing bandwagon by criticizing the governments bailout of GM. But how many of you realize how far reaching into our society this would have gone if our Government had done nothing like some of you suggest simply because Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity said it was a bad thing?
Chevrolet, Cadilac, Buick, Saturn, GMC and Jeep…would have all gone under!!! Six car companies…gone!!! I don’t understand how any of you think this would have been good for anyone!
Just a few of who would be severely damaged:
Thousands would have lost jobs…the many computer companies that make the chips. Places like AutoZone and the hundreds of advertising agencies that worked for the dealerships. The Racing industry would have lost major sponsorship and would have been in peril. The sheet metal industry would have been severely hit.
Have you all really thought this thing through before you criticized the government’s bailout. Or is Rush Limbaugh’s thoughts as good as God himself and need no questioning?
tim,p: there is nooooo way Ford or the other companies could have absorbed the many thousands out of work had GM failed! Are you serious?
Rib: sorry I meant Hummer

The current political strategy for the opposition party is to demonize ANYTHING and EVERYTHING the President does by labelling it as either "socialist", "communist" or "facist" regardless of the fact that all three of these labels are contradictory of each other a fact which simply exposes their reliance on the continued ignorance of their voter base.

Selfish political motivation can boarder on being unpatriotic but, again, many of their voter base are much too ignorant to comprehend such intricacies.

I’ve just finished my history and am a little uneasy about it. Could someone check it over?

1.Which best describes Students for a Democratic Society?

a 1960s student organization that opposed the war (this one?)

a group of congressional interns

a conservative student group within the Republican Party

an organization of ROTC students

Which was a goal of the 1960s counterculture?

rejection of the establishment and traditional values (this one?)

promotion of educational freedom and choice

development of greater economic stability

preservation of the environment

Which event in the antiwar movement resulted in the deaths of college students at the hands of National Guard troops?

Democratic National Convention demonstrations

Kent State University protests (This one)

march on Washington

sit-ins at Columbia University

Which best describes The Feminine Mystique?

Betty Friedan’s book on women’s lack of fulfillment (This one?)

a new way for women to function within the context of their traditional roles

Anita Bryant’s book explaining how gays could become part of the social landscape

a psychology book that addressed ways for women to communicate more forcefully

Which best describes the intent of the Equal Rights Amendment?

Equal rights could not be denied on the basis of sex. (This one.)

Equal rights could not be denied on the basis of race.

Student rights were protected by law.

Voting rights for all Americans over the age of 18 were protected by law.

Which was one effect of the women’s movement on society?

the end of the wage gap between men and women (this one?)

a decline in advertising geared to homemakers

an increase in the number of women enrolling in professional schools

a significant increase in the number of women in the Senate

Gays and lesbians, American Indians, and Hispanics all organized to advocate for their civil rights during the 1960s. What inspired them?

books promoting their causes

the women’s movement (this one?)

new legislation

the African American civil rights movement

Which factor contributed to the Hispanic community gaining additional civil rights?

growth in their population

political power in Congress

appreciation for their culture

passage of the Equal Pay Act (this one)

Who was Cesar Chavez?

the founder of the National Farm Workers Association (this one?)

the first Hispanic elected to the House of Representatives

the a person who advocated strikes, sit-ins, and civil disobedience to achieve rights

the leader of the Hispanic civil rights movement

The Nixon administration is credited with several environmental achievements. Which was not one of these achievements?

establishing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA)

awarding offshore oil leases to selected companies (this one?)

setting aside over 80,000 acres for national parks

establishing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

All look good except:

Women’s rights movement did not erase the gap between salary. Think about how much advertising used to be focused on Honey Homemaker and how much there is now. There are more and more women in professional schools and in the Senate. In effect, it was all except the one you picked.

I think the gay and lesbian, American Indian and Hispanic movements took their lead from the work of Martin Luther King and the African American civil right movement.

The Hispanic community is gaining power because there are more of them than their used to be. They have solid voting blocs in several key places and they aren’t afraid to flex their muscles.

Sleeping in my house is safe. The house was built according to zoning laws enacted by his city which makes his house able to withstand earthquakes…My electrical system has to be installed by a professional and the house have to be livable overall. The police and fire departments and ambulance are on duty. Those public service agencies are paid for by taxes and benefit everyone. I live in the Southeast, and the Tennessee Valley Authority supplies power to my house. The TVA was a massive government program bringing power to the very poor rural area of the Southeast. I live near a nuclear power plant which are 100% backed by government insurance because they simply cannot buy private insurance. Power plant land is often times subsidized by lowered taxes for the utility so the power plant itself is receiving government subsidies every year so it can operate. So Uncle Sam has a big hand in producing his power at every level and of course the electrical grid is massively subsidized and backed by government dollars.

I get up at 6 a.m. and fill my coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. I refuse to acknowledge that the massive opposition to the clean water and clean air acts came from Republicans. With my first swallow of water, I take my daily medication. My medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.
All but $10 of my medications are paid for by my employer’s medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance – now I get it too. But with Universal health care now into law, It can only get better thanks to those damn socialist liberals.

I prepares my morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry opposed by Free Market Conservatives. The government has mandated safe levels of lead in his mugs and plates…the government mandated other things such as the treatment of those animals on those farms and the pesticides and herbicides used to grow his food. I remembers some chemicals taken off the market once proven unsafe despite those corporations fighting tooth and nail to NOT have their product removed from the market. I look at my dog and remembers China producing tainted dog food and sending us toothpaste with chemicals and am thankful that I got none of that because it is illegal here…but China does not have those government regulations. The Free Market there allows such things.

In the morning shower, I reach for my shampoo. The bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for this right to know what I was putting on my body and how much it contained.

I dress, and walk outside and take a deep breath. The air I breath is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.

I walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves me considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

I begin my work day. And have a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards.

My employer pays these standards because my employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union. I don’t remember the book The Jungle nor do I recall child labor laws and weekends off of work which unions and Liberals fought for. I just know the road to my family in the hills was recently repaved…paid for by tax dollars and that gets me back home quicker when am done with the family.

If I get hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, I’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn’t think I should lose my home because of this temporary misfortune. I remember the workers in the West Virginia mine that had the boss that focused more on production than safety and the result there was 29 dead…but the boss became a millionaire 20 times over….every year.

We don’t need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.

Bravo. Do you think that maybe the anti-government crowd takes these things for granted? They might miss them if they were taken away.

We don’t need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.

Awh, you poor thing.
What a bunch of b*stards !

You want to try living in Britain with a comprehensive welfare system & a national health service, free at source for all. Where the minimum wage is a living wage & none of our food is laced with growth hormones.
They just don’t care whose lives they ruin, do they ?

At least with a new right-wing government they’ve started making students pay for higher education, so that will make sure that the children of poor people wont be burdened with having to do any of the high pressure, high paid, jobs.

You have my deepest sympathy !

Having said he stands for the little people, Obama’s true nature surfaces and the country is taking notice and questioning his honesty. Judge for yourself:

Quote from Hillary Clinton:
Sen. Hillary Clinton, seizing on Sen. Barack Obama’s remarks about the bitterness of working class voters, called her rival in the Democratic presidential primary "elitist” and "out of touch.” Obama said today in Indiana that he could have chosen his words better when he told supporters in a closed-door fundraiser in San Francisco on Sunday that Middle American voters have turned against the government in bitterness and vote on single issues. His reported remarks Sunday: "It’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” “Now, like some of you may have been, I was taken aback by the demeaning remarks Sen. Obama made about people in small town America. Sen. Obama’s remarks are elitist and they are out of touch. "

Quote from Joe Biden:
Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) Reaffirmed That Obama Was Not Ready To Be Commander In Chief. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: "You were asked is he ready. You said ‘I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.’" Sen. Biden: "I think that I stand by the statement." (ABC’s "This Week," 8/19/07) <<<<< JUST LAST MONTH

From PressTV.com
Obama facing loss of support
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 00:18:08 GMT Barack Obama is in Denver with concern that his campaign is losing ground in the polls as negative advertising of the Republican continues. There has been complete silence in both the media and the Democratic Party over the real source of Obama’s decline. Pundits say that most young liberals who supported Obama and were looking for change are now disillusioned with his polices.

Gallup: Obama Losing Support Among Conservative Democrats
Barack Obama has lost ground among some of his strongest bases of support, including young people, women, Democrats and independents, according to a new ATV/Zogby poll.

Gallup: Obama Losing Support of Party Base

Wed Aug 20, 2:56 PM ET

From Rueters News Service – Wed Aug 20, 2:56 PM ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

As Obama moves closer to election day, do you think charges of eletism as illustrated by a $28,000 per plate dinner with Barbara Striesand and other Hollywood eletists support the charges as well as causes of slipping in public support from all demographics?
Do you think America is now figuring it out?

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama’s solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll

I’M NOT ASKING YOU TO SLAM MCCAIN. I’M ASKING YOU TO COMMENT ON WHAT YOU THINK IS THE REASON THAT OBAMA ( AS REPORT BY NUMERIOUS NEWS AGENCIES AND HIS OWN PARTY AS SHOWN ) THAT HE HAS LOST SO MUCH SUPPORT?

I can answer this lengthy rant very simply.

You cannot bash him for being a community organizer one day, then call him elitist the next.

He’s the only one besides Biden who’s actually done anything for the "common man".

Make up your mind which tactic you want to take, then Ill knock down that argument too.

Mexico Gives IDs To Illegal Immigrants In U.S.
View Discussion

Last Updated: Fri, 06/04/2010 – 3:08pm

In a baffling development, a major U.S. county is allowing Mexico’s government to operate a satellite consular office to offer the area’s illegal immigrants identification cards that will facilitate life in the United States.

It gets better. Mexican officials kindly asked the Homeland Security agency charged with immigration enforcement not to enforce the law in the area while the cards—known as Matricula Consular—are being issued this week. One U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official claimed to be amazed that the “Mexican government has the gall to tell us what to do.”

Even more amazing is that the federal agency is obliging and that officials in the nation’s most populous county—Los Angeles—are even allowing it to happen. The Mexican consular office is operating on Santa Catalina Island, a small resort community located about 22 miles off the Southern California coast with a population of about 3,000. The majority of the residents on the L.A. County island are illegal immigrants from Mexico.

The Mexican consul’s office first offered the photo identification cards to illegal immigrant workers on the island two years ago. Incredibly, the easily forged Mexican Matricula cards are widely accepted as ID in the U.S. and can be used to apply for government services, establish credit and open bank accounts. They have also been accepted to fraudulently obtain home loans from some of the nation’s top lenders.

A few weeks ago, the Mexican consular office in Los Angeles issued a flier advertising this week’s effort to issue Matricula cards to as many illegal immigrants as possible. The event was originally scheduled for the Catalina Island Country Club, but was later moved to a nearby church because a Republican congressman who represents the area warned that State Department permission is required to host a foreign government. Churches are supposedly exempt under the the Vienna Convention.

Accommodating illegal aliens is nothing new in the Golden State, which has numerous sanctuary cities and police departments with don’t-ask-don’t-tell immigration policies. Last year two California Democrats introduced legislation to make the Mexican identification cards accepted as an official form of ID, carrying the same weight as a U.S. government-issued identification for official transactions. The proposal is opposed by the National Notary Association because it would permit its 50 million members to rely solely on the Mexican cards to verify a person’s identity even though the FBI has deemed them unreliable.

I’ve heard it said, but can’t verify it, that Mexico’s President "admitted" or "said" that 2/3rds of Mexico’s economy comes from it’s citizens sending money home from their jobs in the US

Party demands for a constitutional limited government, balanced Federal Government budget, simplified tax system, audits of Federal agencies as well as reduced taxes and earmarks, will his ratings sink even faster than the current pace to the inevitable 12%?

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/20/us/politics/20dems.html

WASHINGTON — President Obama’s political advisers, looking for ways to help Democrats and alter the course of the midterm elections in the final weeks, are considering a national advertising campaign that would cast the Republican Party as all but taken over by Tea Party extremists, people involved in the discussion said.

But Democrats are divided. The party’s House and Senate campaign committees are resistant, not wanting to do anything that smacks of nationalizing the midterm elections when high unemployment and the drop in Mr. Obama’s popularity have made the climate so hostile to Democrats. Endangered Congressional candidates want any available money to go to their localized campaigns.

The "parties" are over.

The People may or may not win.

But the status quo has seen its days.

I love how the "News" (I.E. media whores) skew the facts to make it out to be just those evil Republicans, when in reality it is "WE THE PEOPLE"

Why are people still letting the few who own the media agencies do this all because the media agencies don’t want to tick off the sources where their advertising money comes from?
Godis..When was the last time that you actually watched C-Span?

I remember a certain Democrat (Although I will be the first to admit that BOTH Democrats and Republicans do this) state about their vote on the Bush Bank Bailout…they received 93,000 phone calls about the bill, and 85,000 were AGAINST it, so of course they felt that they needed to vote FOR the bill. How is that being represented?
What are you talking about Et Cetera? Again, when has the last time that YOU watched C-Span? Can you name your representatives? I bet not.

I have mine on speed dial, but it doesn’t help because they vote the way THEY want to vote verses what people say.
Jerry H…Thanks on the complement.

You have a good point about people exercising their right to protest. I just don’t like how they are trying to make it out like it is still between the right and left because it isn’t. EVERYONE is "Fed Up" with the Government and how the government is acting without our consent passing bills strictly against the Constitution.

The informed people understand exactly what is happening. Of course the media (which is slanted) is not going to promote true liberty !!! Then people would be in control of the government, rather than the statists. Just that simple. The Constitution is scary to socialists and liberals.
